Returns

If you are not delighted with the item you have chosen, please return it to us within 30 days. We will be happy to refund or exchange goods provided they are in perfect condition, and in their original packaging. Delivery charges are not refundable. If it is a reclamation then U+baby refund the delivery charges.

Returns Procedure

Please indicate when you send it back to us whether you would like an exchange, a refund or whether it is a reclamation..
If you are returning a gift, please remember to include the buyer’s name and address.

When you return goods, please retain proof of posting from your shipper. Without this we cannot be responsible for any items that fail to reach us.
We always try to process returns as soon as they arrive. However, during really busy periods, please allow up to 10 days for your return or exchange to be processed.
Please note that refunds for items bought as gifts can only be given to the original payer, and if you decide to swap an item, we can`t stop the payer knowing.

New Zealand Delivery

 

All items can be delivered anywhere in New Zealand at no additional cost. Items dispatched by standard delivery should arrive within 2-3 days of our receipt of your order.

Express Delivery

For an additional charge we can also offer an express delivery service. Please contact us directly if you require express delivery within New Zealand

International Delivery

We welcome overseas orders and can arrange delivery to most parts of the world.
Our overseas shipping charges are extremely competitive.

International Air Mail

Items dispatched overseas by international airmail should arrive within ten (10) days of our receipt of your order, but please allow up to two (2) weeks during busy periods.

International Express Delivery

For an additional charge, we can also offer an international express delivery service. Please contact us directly if you require international express delivery

Customs and Duty

If your order is to be delivered outside New Zealand, it may attract import duty and local sales taxes that must be paid upon receipt of the shipment. These rules vary by country and your local government determines duty and customs charges.

Stock availability

We do our best to keep all items in stock. However, some items sell out quicker than anticipated, and there can be lead times for production. If an item is out of stock we will advise as to when we expect delivery and if you still wish to place an order, we will send it out as soon as we receive it. If there is any further delay we will notify you in writing and ask that you reconfirm whether you would still like the order to be sent to you. You will not be charged until the goods leave the warehouse.

Split orders

If some items go out of stock after you have placed your order, we may split your order. In this case, we will only charge you one delivery charge and will send the subsequent delivery free of charge.

Personal information

When you place an order on this Website, we will ask you to input and will collect Personal Information from you such as your name, email address, telephone number, delivery address, credit card information and a billing address.
We treat all your personal information as confidential and will only use it for the following purposes:
- Processing your orders
- If you consent, to notify you of our products or special offers that may be of interest to you.

Newsletter list

When you provide us with personal information it is automatically added to our newsletter, via which we will keep you informed of new products and special offers.
We will not under any circumstances pass on your personal information to any third party nor bombard you with irritating junk mail or spam.
You may unsubscribe from our mailing list at any time by clicking on the provided link on the newsletter or e-mail us on info@uplusbaby.com and put the word "unsubscribe" in the subject line.

A cookie is a small text files which our Website places on your computer’s hard drive to store information about your shopping session and to identify your computer.
We use session cookies to keep track of your current shopping session to personalise your experience and to store items you have added to your shopping bag. If you do not accept session cookies you will not be able to use this Website.

Secure online ordering
We have taken every reasonable precaution to ensure that the Personal Information that you provide is safe and secure.
All transactions processed by U+Baby are protected using technology called SSL, the industry standard security protocol that the U+Baby site uses to communicate with secure browsers such as Internet Explorer and Netscape. If your browser is SSL capable, your sensitive information will be automatically encrypted before being sent over the Internet.
All SSL capable browsers have a symbol (either a closed lock or a key), which indicates secure mode. In addition, you will be able to tell when you are in a secure area by the URL appearing in the address bar, which will change from HTTP to HTTPS.
Your payment details are held in an encrypted format until we process your order. Your credit card is processed through the Bank of New Zealand’s E-gate. We do not store your credit card details.

Terms and Conditions of Sale

Use of Website

You are provided with access to this Website in accordance with these Conditions and any orders placed by you must be placed strictly in accordance with these Conditions.
We reserve the right to modify or withdraw, temporarily or permanently, this Website (or any part hereof) with or without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third party for any modification to or withdrawal of the Website; and/or change the Conditions from time to time, and your continued use of the Website (or any part hereof) following such change shall be deemed to be your acceptance of such change. It is your responsibility to check regularly to determine whether the Conditions have been changed. If you do not agree to any change to the Conditions then you must immediately stop using the Website.

Contract, Order Acceptance and Cancellation
The technical steps required creating a contract between you and U+Baby are as follows:
You place the order for your products on the Website by pressing the Process Order button at the end of the checkout process.
We will send to you an order acknowledgement email detailing the products you have ordered. This is not an order confirmation or an order acceptance from U+Baby.
Order acceptance and the completion of the contract between you and U+Baby will take place on the dispatch of the products ordered to you unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order, or you have cancelled it before dispatch. The sales contract is completed in New Zealand.
We may not be able to accept your order or part of your order for one of the following reasons:
- The product you ordered is out of stock
- Authorisation of your payment failed
- U+Baby  made a pricing or product description error
- You are not eligible to order from U+Baby
If there are any problems with your order, we will contact you.
If you change your mind about an order that you have placed with us, please contact us as quickly as possible by emailing info@uplusbaby.com
Orders are usually processed immediately after you place the order, so we may have already packaged your order and made arrangements for it to be sent to you when you cancel it. If this is the case we cannot always stop the order from being sent. Once you receive the order, you will have to return it to us.

Indemnity

You agree fully to indemnify, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of any breach of the conditions by you or any other liabilities arising out of your use of this Website, or the use by any other person accessing the Website using your shopping account and/or your personal information.

Product descriptions

Each item purchased is sold subject to its product description. We take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Website are correct. However, some information, including product descriptions may not always reflect the position at the moment you place an order.

U+Baby is the trading name of U Plus Baby Limited; registered in New Zealand, Company No. 1646983 Our registered office is 209 St. Heliers Bay Road, St. Heliers, Auckland, New Zealand.
U+Babys total liability for any claim however arising shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied by U+Baby to the customer, together with any postage costs incurred. U+Baby shall not be liable for any consequential customer loss whether this arises from a breach of duty in contract or in any other way. U+Baby cannot accept any liability for a failure to comply with specific instructions stated in any catalogue or on the website.
U+Baby and other U+Baby-owned names and or logos contained in this site are trademarks and or registered trademarks of U Plus Baby Limited. Other names on this site may be trademarks or registered trademarks of their respective owners. Copyright in the photographs, site design and graphics contained in this website is held by U Plus Baby Limited.
All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars and include GST (Goods and Services Tax). They are correct at the time of publication on this Website.
In the case of overseas orders, the total cost of your order is the price of the products ordered plus delivery charges as set out in the shipping section of this Website.

Payment methods

U+Baby accepts VISA and Mastercard
All credit cardholders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer when you place your order. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. Card payments will be debited and cleared from your account when your order is processed. You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours.
For orders placed by mail we also accept cheques drawn on any New Zealand bank (crossed and made payable to U Plus Baby Limited). All cheques must be cleared before products are dispatched.
Currency Conversion: International orders will be transacted at the currency rates prevailing at the time of purchase.
